My name is Mike Dillon, many of you have been visiting my website since it was first launched in 2006. What happened to me can, does and has happened to other people. There are literally thousands of people like myself facing and fighting illegal foreclosure attempts due to mortgage servicing fraud. My fight has been the result of a company called Fairbanks Capital Corp. Regardless of the fact that they changed their name in 2004, they are the same company, playing the same games with people's lives. While in 2001 we thought maybe this was a problem isolated to this one particular company, we now know that Fairbanks n/k/a Select Portfolio Servicing wasn't and isn't the only company perpertrating these frauds on the American public.

Since 2001 I have been  continually victimized by Fairbanks Capital Corp. (n/k/a Select Portfolio Servicing), a mortgage servicing company and their locally based lawyers at Harmon Law Offices, P.C. Due to the unethical and often illegal way Fairbanks/Select does business, they have forced me into fighting an illegal foreclosure attempt by them on my home!  Here I will present my story, show you what to look for in your own loans and present evidence that Fairbanks actually held my payments making them late, as well as other useful information and resources for people actually being victimized by mortgage servicing fraud and/or other types of real estate fraud.  

This is the only website where I personally post detailed information about my situation, my case and the people or entities involved in my situation/case. While I may infrequently post to other websites or forums, when I do so it is always under my own name with an email address that comes back to this dot com and is answered by this dot com. The only consumer group I am affiliated with is the National Association Against Mortgage Servicing Fraud (NAAMSF). I personally do not endorse any service, website, person, not for profit entity, consumer group (except for NAAMSF) business or company, nor am I affiliated with any not for profit entity, consumer group (except for NAAMSF), business or for profit company. In other words, if you don't hear it directly from me or see it here on GetDShirtz.com, don't trust it.

Here is it 2008 & while Fairbanks may have changed their name to Select Portfolio Servicing, I am still dealing with this issue. A June 2008 trip to Joe Moakley Court House tells me so are many other people. Although I have miles to go (or so it feels most days), I have learned a thing or two over the years about what is now commonly called Mortgage Servicing Fraud. I've made the decision to upgrade my website and include some of the more helpful information I have learned over the years, including how to avoid being taken advantage of by people who claim to be able to help you. By no means am I an expert and there won't be any legal advice here at GetDShirtz, but you may find a thing or two to help you along in your own situations.
