Here's the proof that loan servicers really do hold checks. All of these items were part of Dillon v Fairbanks in Hillsborough
County Superior Court (which means they were evidence in the case that stopped the foreclosure on my home).

I sent this check by overnight mail, certifed return receipt requested. Note that Fairbanks stamped the check
as received April 12 but they never cashed it until April 24.Their own loan history states this payment should
have made the loan current, however they obviously pursued foreclosure anyway.
